Enforce your right as a parent to protect your family

In today’s world, when it comes to protecting the well-being of our children, many parents just like you are faced with an onslaught of media competing for the attention of their young minds. This is not just sexual content, violence and language, we’re talking about. Your kids are being fed innuendos, subliminal messages, indoctrination and social conditioning like never before in history. Filtering services like VidAngel allow you to pre-edit (skip over parts you choose) movies and TV shows giving you peace of mind about what your children are exposed to.

Right now there is another battle waging behind the scenes, and its outcome will directly affect your rights as a parent. Four Hollywood studios (Disney—along with Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, and Lucasfilm) have entered in legal battles with VidAngel, in a case that is sure to set a precedent for the future of the filtering industry. This is not the first time Hollywood has strongly opposed filtering services. After all, they were against the Family Movie Act (FMA), a law designed to empower parents and enable filtering services. The #SaveFiltering petition exists to enforce your right to choose how your family consumes content in the privacy of your own home before Hollywood takes it away.

This lawsuit is yet another example of of Hollywood’s intolerance of those who stand for moral values.

This is perfect for watching PG13 movies with my 11 year old twins. I’m not ready for them to see all the sexual references in pretty much every movie that is out there these days, but its nice to watch something beyond G and PG movies.

Please save filtering options and vid angel. Our family greatly enjoys the freedom we have to control content and negative images that Hollywood pushes onto us in our daily lives.

If we can’t watch filtered movies, we will stop watching entertainment. If there is not an avenue in this day and age, for us to watch something clean yet still entertaining, what will become of this world, with all its violence, gore, sex plastered in front of our kids faces?!! Why on earth do good decent people have a problem with filtering? Oh, I know, because they aren’t good decent people and don’t care about being decent!!!

This is a useful and needed service, yes it’s for entertainment, but if I didn’t have the ability to edit/filter I wouldn’t watch the movie, there’s so much trash in them now days that I just don’t want to see, so I won’t spend the money or time on them, but this lets me choose what I see and what I don’t, letting me watch a much broader range of movies.

Content management of media for my family is critical. When we pay for a media product, we should have access to filtering content from not only our young child’s eyes and ears but also our own. There are many things in cinema and music that are enjoyable but littered with graphic, violent, pornographic and suggestive content. It is nice to access to technology that does not bypass the payment for product but does bypass the exposure to such objectionable content.

I don’t understand this. It’s still money in their pockets, isn’t it?

This is the only reason I watch any Hollywood movies anymore. Without it, we would not be watching at all.

Please allow VidAngel to continue this great service to families and people who want to be entertained without subjecting themselves to the filth of bad language, violence and sexual content in their home!

Filtering has allowed me to enjoy so many great movies with my family. Movies with wonderful messages and stories that I would never be able to share with them while they are young. I love the freedom that vidangel gives me.

I like the ability to filter based on who is watching. I may change the filters if it is only myself and my 13yo watching, vrs if my 9 yo is also watching.
